The Bible contains many stories that are rich with meaning and relevance and prove to be useful tools in understanding today’s society. Through using the Bible's narrative text we can help children learn life skills such as relationship building and wise decision making. Several of our programmes delve into some of these narratives helping children to engage with them, drawing conclusions and applications from them and giving them opportunities to ‘meet’ some key Bible characters along the way.
The Bibleworld team acknowledge that emotional and social wellbeing is as important as health and nutrition. We are also aware that confident and independent young people can make a significant contribution to the communities in which they live.
We want to encourage each child and young person to be individually responsible for his and her own beliefs, actions and choices as they mature. By promoting open and honest dialogue we aim to establish an environment where concerns and uncertainties can be talked about and equal contributions can be made.
