As a Christian organisation we use Bible texts and historical events to help develop an understanding of Christian beliefs and practices and how they have been fundamental in the fabrication of our society in Scotland. We also examine social and religious values in context with Christianity and the message of the Bible.
We encourage young people to develop respect for Christianity and other religions by promoting understanding and acknowledgement of difference between other cultures and faiths. We also recognise that faith can offer positive responses to questions about life and personal search, and therefore we believe that RME is a vital part of a young person's education.
